Square's processing fee is charged by Square, separately from your VaultXchange plan. Card payments are turned on for each shop during onboarding. VaultXchange takes payments through Square; it doesn't import your Square item library or customers.

Questions shops ask

Before you decide.

Do I have to switch my POS?
No. Choose the tools your workspace shows at signup. Many shops start with trade-ins, store credit, events and collector alerts. To send wishlist alerts, keep your stock in VaultXchange Inventory; you can import it from a spreadsheet.
Can anyone send me cards to buy?
No. Sell requests come only from collectors who already have an account with your shop from doing business with you. Following your shop isn't enough.
Do my customers pay for the app?
No. The collector app is free on iPhone, Android and the web. VaultXchange+ is optional.
What does Scaling cost?
2% of in-person card sales through VaultXchange POS with Square, instead of the monthly fee. Cash, payment apps, trade-ins, XChange trades and Sell Your Cards don't count. Scaling is approved for each shop.
Which Square hardware works?
Square Terminal, Square Reader (2nd generation) paired to the VaultXchange app on your phone or tablet, and Tap to Pay on Android. You use your own Square account.
